Zhang Zhengmin, born in 1962 in Pei County , Jiangsu , graduated from Arts Department of Yixing Light Industry College, Jiangsu in 1983 and graduated from Figure Painting Major, Chinese Painting Department, China Institute of Fine Arts in1989 and graduated from graduated courses class of Figure Painting Major, Chinese Painting Department, China Institute of Fine Arts in 2000. Now he is the chief editor of Jiangsu Illustrated Periodical . In 1991 he attended a five-people painting arts exhibition in Beijing; in 1994 he attended the first round of Nanjing Artists Association Nominee Exhibition; in 1995 he held Zhang Zhengmin Paintings Exhibition in Singapore; in 1998 he held Zhang Zhengmin Paintings Exhibition in Malaysia; in 2000 he held Zhang Zhengmin Paintings Exhibition in Nanjing; in 2001 he held Zhang Zhengmin Paintings Exhibition in Pei County, attended national Chinese painting annual exhibition in Dalian, ink painting process exhibition in Hangzhou, Age of Art the first exquisite arts exhibition in Shanghai, and international abstract ink painting exhibition in Xi'an; in 2002 he attended Summer of Yantai famous artists scholar nominee exhibition of Chinese painting in Yantai and ink painting conditional exhibition in Beijing; in 2003 he attended Brilliant Colored Century Exhibition and won the gold prize in Shanghai. His main scholarly treatises include: Zhang Zhengmin's Paintings Collection, Zhang Zhengmin's Chosen Chinese Paintings Collection , and Famous Artists' Lectures—Simple Truth.
