Zhang Hongbin is a famous traveling artist in America, a member of China Artists Association, a professor of California State University of Los Angelus, America, a specially invited professor of Shandong Institute of Arts and Crafts, the former dean and professor of Art Department of Shandong Normal University and a member of the 6 th Political Consultative Conference. He graduated from the attached middle school of China Central Institute of Fine Arts in 1960 and graduated from Mural Painting Major of China Central Institute of Fine Arts in 1965. His works have attended many national and Shandong arts exhibitions and have won many prizes. In 1987, he went to America to give lectures upon invitation of California State University of Los Angelus and was praised “the messenger of Chinese culture” and “the bridge of cultural communication between China and America ” by Americans. His works have been made into screen printing plates and have a good market in United States and Japan , etc. In America he was hailed as one of the most successful Chinese artists and an international modern artist with great popularity. He has published Zhang Hongbin Arts Collection and Zhang Hongbin's World of Art in America and Japan respectively.
