Xu Dongqing, born in 1972 in Fuyang , Anhui , graduated from Art Department of Fuyang Normal Academy in Anhui in 2000 and studied in Wang Mingming studio of Beijing Painting Academy . She is a well-known artist of traditional Chinese realistic flowers and birds painting and an editor of paper of Academy of Chinese Painting . In 1996, her work Cage was selected to Female Artists' Works Exhibition of Anhui. In 1998, her work Night Odour was selected to 1998 Young Artists' Works Exhibition in Anhui Province and got an excellent prize. In 1999, her work Another Sunny Spring Day was selected to Arts Exhibition for celebrating the 50 th anniversary of China in Anhui province and got an excellent prize. In 1999, her work Followed Comfortable Feeling was collected by Zhongnanhai, and she was awarded collection certificate. In 2000, she held a works exhibition of Wang Mingming Studio in China Art Gallery . In 2001, her works were selected to New Era Chinese Painting Exhibition. In 2002, her work Moisturizing with Silence was selected to 2002 National Chinese Painting Exhibition for Saluting Olympic Games. In the same year, her work Spring & Autumn was selected to 2002 the 16 th new artists' new works exhibition of China Art Association. In 2002, her work Floweriness was selected to National Chinese Painting Works Nominee Exhibition West Glory and won an excellent prize. In 2003, she attended Oriental Charms hosted by Ministry of Culture and Academy of Chinese Painting .
