Liu Mingbo, born in December 1969, graduated from China Institute of Fine Arts in 1997. In 1994, his work A Corner on Meng Mountain was selected to attend Exhibition of Young Chinese Painting Artists. In 1995, his work Quiet Meng Mountain won Changchun Prize in Chinese Painting Exhibition in Changchun of China, Meng Mountain Wind Prize and the Excellent Prize of China Sports Painting Exhibition. In 1996, his work Lotus Pond attended the 11 th Flowers and Birds Painting Invitational Exhibition. In 1998, his work Fours Seasons in the Mist attended Contemporary Chinese Landscape Painting and Oil Landscape Painting Exhibition in China International Arts Year and was collected by Taiwan Mountain Arts, Culture and Education Fund. His work Mountain attended Calligraphy and Arts Invitational Exhibition of Beijing University's Centenary and was collected by Beijing University . In 1999, his work Dream in the Forest attended National Landscape Painting Exhibition of trans-century and the 50 th anniversary of establishment of China ; another work attended national artworks exhibition commemorating 2500 years' anniversary of Confucius's birth and collected by People's Press. His work Beautiful Autumn Scenery attended the 1 st Fine Arts Exhibition of Chinese Painting Artists.
