Bi Jianxun, alias Bi Yangpu, Man nationality, was born in 1962 in Liaoning . He had studied in Chinese Painting Department of Luxun Arts Academy, getting his bachelor's degree. Then he was admitted to Chinese Painting Department of China Central Institute of Fine Arts in 1989, getting his master's degree. Now he is working in Chinese Painting Department of China Central Institute of Fine Arts and undertaking many posts, such as the vice general secretary of Chinese Painting Arts Committee of China Artists Association, the chief editor of main learned periodical on Chinese Painting Chinese Painting Artists, a member of Beijing Artists Association, a member of Beijing Youth Association, vice-president and standing director of China Tongze Academy of Calligraphy and Arts.
